Leigh was a co-author of my Definitive Bournemouth some years back, and is well known for his player profiles in the matchday programmes of our League clubs. Putting the two strands together was a logical step, resulting in first complete who’s who of the nearly 900 Bournemouth players with one or more League appearance for the club.
Everyone is treated equally; a man with one substitute appearance deserves equal weight in Leigh’s mind to Ted MacDougall and the other superstars of the club. With nearly all AFCB’s time spent in the lower divisions, there are a lot of unfamiliar names in here.
