ERRATA

No matter how many times we proof read the book before printing, it's always interesting to see what we missed!  We've spotted a few things ourselves; thanks to Colin Slater, Ian Mills and others for the rest.

Here is the latest list of amendments - I will add to it from time to time.

Page 6: 1974/75.  Scanlon’s hat-trick was against Sheffield Wednesday, not Huddersfield.

Page 6: The supporters’ attempt to keep Glenn Roeder at the club was in 1983/84, not 1982/83.

Page 8, Abandoned matches.  Though the list is of League games, it is worth a note that the FA Cup 3rd round replay with Wimbledon in 2000/01 was abandoned twice.  Firstly due to fog after 34 minutes, then after torrential rain in 12 minutes.

Page 22: The longest run of defeats, 7, was equalled in 1983/84, from September 3rd to October 16th.

Page 23, second paragraph of the League Cup.  Delete the last line (the first home game was v Brighton in 1960, as stated earlier in the paragraph).

Page 32:  Line 1.  Notts scored 107 goals but finished as runners-up, not champions.

Page 35:  The last match at the City Ground v Blackburn Rovers was April 17th 1909, not April 18th 1908.  The score was 2-3, not 0-2.

Page 46, Penalty Shoot-Outs.  We have missed the ZDS Cup match v Sheffield United on October 22nd 1991, won 2-1 on penalties by Notts.  The details of who scored and who missed will have to be dug out of the archives, unless anyone reading this has the details to hand!  Page 179 needs a note to say the game was won on penalties, after extra time.

Page 112:  Season 1926/27; Kemp played at 4 in game 42, not 6.

Page 131:  Third Division South Cup line-ups.  Goalkeeper Brown's initials were HT, not GR.  The list on page 218 also needs correcting.

Page 158:  1972/73 team group.  The unknown player in the standing line is Neil Ross.

Page 169:  1983/84 team group.  Insert Hunt between Christie and Harkouk; insert McParland between Mair and Walker.

Page 195:  The page should be headed "13th in Football League Two"

Page 214 (players’ list).  Mick Stone moved to Nottingham Forest, not Sutton Town
