Each book contains the results, attendances, scorers and line ups for all Football League and Premier League games played by the club, together with the same details for the FA Cup, the League Cup, and other domestic and European cup competitions. For many of the clubs in this series, this is the first time such information has been available.
The contents of each book are as follows:
A detailed players' A-Z section, listing for every player his birth date, birthplace, date of death (if known), first and last
seasons with the club, previous and next clubs, appearances and
goals in all competitions.
Miscellaneous facts and figures, such as abandoned games and
a record of meetings with all other clubs
Season by season grids showing the results of each match, the
scorers, attendance, and the eleven players plus substitutes.
Attendances are taken from the official Football League records.
All "first class" matches are included, such as League,
F.A. Cup, Football League Cup, Anglo-Scottish Cup and the Associate
Members Cup (now the Auto Windscreens Shield).
We are sure that these books will complement those in your collection
from publishers such as Breedon and Yore. Our objective
is to try to complete the task of publishing a "complete
record" of every club that has played in the League. We
will also seek to update club histories which are now long out
of print.
